CRASH OF A USAAF GLIDER
NEAR MOUNT PLEASANT
ABT 5 MILES NW OF DAYBORO
IN SOUTH EAST QLD
ON AN UNKNOWN DATE DURING WWII
![]()
My late friend Ken Gold told me about two forced landings that he knew took place during WWII. One was a "forced landing" of an L-4 Cub just north of his parents' home near Samsonvale and the other was the forced landing of a USAAF Glider north east of his wife's parents' Farm House near Mount Pleasant.

Can anyone help me with more information on this crash?
