Tiger Moth
Tiger Moth A17-20 of 2 Elementary Flying Training School 2 EFTS at Archerfield, crashed at Archerfield Airfield at 0845 hours on 17 January 1942. The pilot, LAC Gordon McIntosh Hughes (26288) received slight injuries including a lacerated nose and multiple abrasions. The aircraft crashed on take off from a height of 100 feet. The aircraft was a complete write-off.
Can anyone help me with more information on this crash?
