Tiger Moth
Tiger Moth A17-18 of 2 Elementary Flying Training School 2 EFTS at Archerfield, crashed at Manly 10 miles north east of Archerfield Airfield at 0845 hours on 14 March 1940. The pilot Air Cadet Hubert Albert Lenne (375) who was flying solo, was uninjured whilst executing a forced landing when the aircraft struck electric wires and was forced into a ploughed field and overturned. His engine had failed at 200 feet. The Main planes undercarriage, airscrew, centre section and rudder were damaged.
Can anyone help me with more information on this crash?
