Tiger Moth
Tiger Moth A17-13 of 2 Elementary Flying Training School 2 EFTS at Archerfield, crashed four miles north west of Archerfield Airfield at 1110 hours on 2 May 1940. The crew, Flying Officer R.C. Nelson and Air Cadet Eric Neville Faine (270797) were both uninjured. The engine refused to respond when the throttle was opened after approach. There was slight damage to the tail unit which was caused by striking an obstacle in the grass paddock they crash landed in.
Can anyone help me with more information on this crash?
