Ms. V.L. Pearce is "seeking the father of William Huxtable, (a tailor) who married Catherine Dinner on 18 Aug 1793 at Tawstock (possibly Tavistock). Their third child Sabina, was born on 14 June 1799 also at Tawstock. Could his father be William Huxtable, born 12 January 1750 at Bratton Flemming to William Huxtable and Elizabeth Davis who married at Arlington on 30 April 1739?"

If William Huxtable is the grandson of William Huxtable and Elizabeth Davis then he would part of a Huxtable line being researched by Mrs. Val Ambridge, 37 Lyonsdown Avenue, New Barnet, Herts., EN5 1DX, England. Her Huxtables go back to a John Huxtable born in about 1490 in the village of Charles, in north Devon.
