CRASH OF A BRISTOL BEAUFORT
10 MILES SE OF WOODSIDE

Bristol Beaufort
RAAF Bristol Beaufort, Mark V, A9-16 (RAF Serial No. T9555), crashed in flames 10 miles south east of Woodside during a night seaward flight.
The crew of four were all killed:-
P/O H.W.M. Greenswood
Sgt N.J. Crosbie
Sgt. W.E.M. Gough
Sgt. J.H. Sheppard
This aircraft was delivered to the RAAF in February 1942. It was written off after the crash.
