A Millmerran contractor found three "36M" World War 2 style unexploded hand grenades in a building in Campbell Street, Millmerran in south west Queensland on Saturday 18 March 2006.

The Contractor contacted the Millmerran police who immediately made contact with the Army Explosive Ordnance "bomb disposal" unit. Sergeant Steve Ryan of Millmerran Police said the grenades were later destroyed by a controlled explosion.
