36TH AIR BASE GROUP
AT TOCUMWAL AIRFIELD, NSW
IN AUSTRALIA DURING WWII
The following units were assigned to to 36th Air Base Group which was located at Tocumwal Airfield as at 27 May 1942:-

A report signed by 2nd Lt. Basil D. Moen shows that the 36th Air Base Group was located at Tocumwal Airfield as at 1 August 1942 as follows:-

| E.O. | Ned I. Colia | 1st Lt. | O-392436 |
The 36th Air Base Group later moved to Townsville in north Queensland.
