AWA WIRELESS FIELD SET 6 (FS6)
USED IN AUSTRALIA DURING WW2

The AWA Wireless Field Set 6 (FS6) was introduced in the 1930's had a range of 4 to 6 miles and was used for either Morse (Radiotelegraphy) or voice (radiotelephony) communications.

Coast watchers radio, AWA Radio Set FS6 Mk II Type 245775, Serial No. 3064
complete with power supply pack. Type IH6439, Serial No. 2310. On display
in the North Queensland Military Museum at Kissing Point in Townsville.
