Hi,

I believe that the wreck of B-24 Liberator "Poochie" had its centre wing section salvaged for it's use in the restoration of a RAAF Liberator down south.

I have the article at home, I will get some more details and scan the photo's.

I've also got photo's of the B-24 on top of Mount Straloch, Hinchinbrook Island (what's left of it). I'll dig them up too and send them on.
