There is a file in National Archives of Australia regarding the move of the Motor Transport Repair Section of No. 1 Aircraft Depot, RAAF from Coode Island near Melbourne to Laverton Airfield in Victoria.
In 1927 the Larkin Aircraft Supply Company (Lasco) established itself on Coode Island near Melbourne. Their works included a factory and airfield.
Can anyone help me with more information?
