Dear Mr Dunn
For some years I have researched the crash of a 103 Squadron Lancaster. I got in touch with David Fell via the internet. He told me about your homepage. It is very interesting. I have some information about the 7 known 460 losses in Denmark. Are you interested in this I'll be glad to send them to you. Can you help me with some information about W/C Hughie Edwards.
Regards Peter Lund

Gidday mate - thanks for your E-mail concerning G/C Edwards on your website. Interesting pictures. The picture with AVM Rice is of special interest to me. AVM Rice was the CO of 1 group, the group with my "research" Sqd, 103.
I´d forgotten that I had a little picture of G/C Edwards, and I´ve attached it to this E-mail. I don´t know who the other guy on the picture is. Maybe his Mosquito navigator F/O H H E P Cairns. They flew their last mission together on the 27 January 1943, the attack on the Danish shipyard Burmeister & Wain in Copenhagen. In your E-mail you advertised for info on G/C Edwards. Will you let me now if you get anything on him? (I certainly will - Peter) One should think that a book or something must be written about a person like Edwards.
Yours - Peter

Can anyone help me with more information?
