FORCED LANDING OF A BOOMERANG
AT AN UNKNOWN LOCATION, WA
ON 18 JUNE 1944
Boomerang A46-74 of 85 Squadron RAAF, piloted by F/Sgt J. Shoesmith, made a forced landing at an unknown location in Western Australia after the engine seized on 18 June 1944. The aircraft was not damaged.
