CRASH OF A BOOMERANG
AT AN UNKNOWN LOCATION, WA
ON 9 NOVEMBER 1943

Boomerang A46-80 of 85 Squadron RAAF, piloted by LAC D.B. Adams had a tail wheel blow out while landing at an unknown location in Western Australia on 9 November 1943. There was no damage to the aircraft nor injury to the pilot during this heavy landing. LAC Adams had been demoted for a low flying incident. He regained his rank at a later date.
