CRASH OF A BOOMERANG
AT GUILDFORD, WA
ON 18 MAY 1943

Boomerang A46-25 of 85 Squadron RAAF, piloted by P/O W.J. Denny, braked to avoid hitting a tender while taxiing along a narrow taxiway at Guildford airfield in Western Australia on 18 May 1943. The aircraft tipped on its nose. Three blades of the propeller were badly damaged.
A46-25 was involved in another crash on 3 July 1943.
