How are you, Peter?

Did you do any good for the Beatty family? My enquiry around 18th October?

Another One. An aircraft, RAAF? said variously to be an "Anson Ganet Plane"? or A14-4 Gannett crashed in the sea 50 yards off shore one mile from the landing strip {which strip) at 0525 hours 25/8/44. Crew Pilot F/O. Dix. Navigator Sgt. Catton. Passenger Wing Commander or Sqn. Ldr. Dr. J.C.Sangster. Aircraft said to be on a mercy flight to save the life of a civilian. The aircraft was based at Corunna Downs, 60 km south of Marble Bar.

Do you have this one on your records? Or any information on it? Enquiry on behalf of the Doctors son, Mike Sangster.

Cheers,

thanks, Howard Young.
