CRASH OF A LOCKHEED HUDSON
AT BROOME AIRFIELD, WA
ON 7 SEPTEMBER 1940

On 7 September 1940, Lockheed Hudson A16-83 of 13 Squadron RAAF, crashed on take-off at Broome Airfield due to a binding brake and caught fire. It was a complete loss. The crew comprised Flight Lieutenant Jack Sharp (225), Sergeant Prosser and 3 others.
