CRASH LANDING OF A BEAUFORT
AT NULLAGINE, WA
ON 20 SEPTEMBER 1945

On 20 September 1945, a Beaufort from Cunderdin which was expected to arrive at Noonkanbah made a forced landing at Nullagine in Western Australia. I have been able to determine the serial number for this Beaufort.

73 OBU ORB, page 28 reads as follows:-

"20 Sep 1945 - Beaufort from Cunderdin lost at Nilligine (sic Nullagine)."

75 OBU ORB, page 92 reads as follows:-

"20 Sep 45 - A Beaufort aircraft was expected to arrive, but failed to do so due to a forced landing made at Nullagine."
