CRASH OF A KITTYHAWK
AT MILDURA, VIC
ON 24 JANUARY 1943

On 24 January 1943, RAAF Kittyhawk A29-82, of No. 2 Operational Training Unit (2 OTU) based at Mildura, VIC, made a forced landing at Mildura airfield. The pilot 20 year old Sergeant G.F. Raffen (416364) was killed in this accident.
