CRASH OF A HAWKER DEMON
NEAR DUTSON BOMBING & GUNNERY RANGE, VIC
ON 30 JUNE 1942

On 30 June 1942, RAAF Hawker Demon A1-59 from No. 3 Bombing & Gunnery School, stalled and hit a tree during air-ground gunnery training near the Dutson Bombing and Gunnery School in Victoria which is located east of West Sale.

Pilot Sgt. H. Duguid Injured and LAC. L.Moffit were uninjured.
