CRASH OF A P-40 WARHAWK
AT AMBERLEY, QLD
ON 3 FEBRUARY 1942

On 3 February 1942, USAAF P-40 Warhawk #41-5456 suffered damage to the electrical system, rudder, elevators and tail wheel at Amberley airfield. The pilot was Lt. Glover of the 33rd Pursuit Squadron (Provisional).
