FORCED LANDING OF AN AVRO ANSON
APPROX. 5 MILES FROM ROCKHAMPTON, QLD

At 1500 hours E.S.T. on 7 April 1942, Avro Anson AW.670 of 8 Service Flying Training School, 8 SFTS, made a forced landing in a large paddock approximately 5 miles from Rockhampton in central Queensland, after one of its engines failed
The pilot LAC Douglas Reginald Toovey (416632) was uninjured. There were no other crew members.
Can anyone help me with more information on this crash?
