FORCED LANDING OF A GIPSY MOTH
3 MILES WEST OF ARCHERFIELD AIRFIELD,
BRISBANE, QLD,
ON 16 NOVEMBER 1940

Gipsy Moth A7-87 of 2 Elementary Flying Training School 2 EFTS at Archerfield, force landed approximately 3 miles west of Archerfield Airfield, Brisbane at 0800 hours on 16 November 1940. The pilot made a forced landing following an engine failure.
The front spar, port lower mainplane, rear spar, starboard lower mainplane were all damaged. The airscrew was also broken. The pilot ACI George Edward Kendall (404338) was not injured.
Can anyone help me with more information on this crash?
