CRASH OF A P-40 KITTYHAWK
AT DALY WATERS, NT
ON 6 FEBRUARY 1942

On 6 February 1942, a USAAF P-40 Kittyhawk piloted by 2nd Lieutenant Bryan W. Brown (0-421035) of the 3rd Pursuit Squadron (Provisional) crashed at Daly Waters, Northern Territory. 2nd Lt Brown had earlier transferred from the 17th Pursuit Squadron.

2nd Lt Brown had been involved in an earlier crash in a P-40 Kittyhawk at Townsville, Queensland on 16 January 1942.
