FORCED LANDING OF A DH-84
DRAGON
IN SEA OFF MINDIL BEACH, DARWIN, NT
ON 3 SEPTEMBER 1944

On 3 September 1944, DH-84 Dragon A34-52 of 6 Communications Unit RAAF made a forced landed into the sea near Mindill Beach, Darwin, Northern Territory. Pilot S/Ldr Clyde Cornwall Fenton (261462) was slightly injured. Captain W. Seelen was slightly injured. S/Ldr Crawford and LAC Charles Hyem Land (67011) were uninjured.
