CRASH OF A DH-86
AT DARWIN, NT

On 9 October 1944, Qantas de Havilland DH-86A VH-USC "Canberra" crashed at Darwin in the Northern Territory on 9 October 1944.
This aircraft was originally registered in September 1934. It went to MacRobertson Miller in July 1938. It was cancelled off the civil register when it was impressed by the RAAF as A31-5 on 24 September 1940. It was returned to Qantas in March 1942.
