CRASH OF A WIRRAWAY
ON THE PRACTICE BOMBING RANGE,
WILLIAMTOWN, NSW
ON 15 OCTOBER 1943

On 15 October 1943, RAAF Wirraway A20-456, of 4 OTU ORB, crashed on the practice bombing range at Williamtown, New South Wales. Flight Sgt C J W Rothe, pilot, was killed.
