CRASH OF A KITTYHAWK
AT "BURTA" STATION, NEAR BROKEN HILL, NSW
ON 6 DECEMBER 1944

On 6 December 1944, P-40 Kittyhawk, A29-105 made a safe forced landing at "Burta" Station, near Broken Hill in New South Wales.

This same aircraft crashed at Breddan, QLD on 13 Aug 43
