Wirraway
On 23 September 1941, Wirraway A20-91 of 12 Squadron RAAF, force landed on Casurina Beach at Darwin with its undercarriage up, after an engine failure. The crew of Flying Officer C.W. Stark (pilot) and Sergeant J.C. Sargent were both uninjured.
