Dear Peter, We have spent many enjoyable hours reading your wonderful site.
My dad, George F Clarke DFC was transferred from 100 Squadron, Grimsby to 460 Squadron at Binbrook. He was there from May 1944 to July 1944, as a Flight Engineer. The details we have of the crew are not complete, but are as follows:
Pilot H Frederick Breakspear
Squadron Leader
Flight Engineer George F Clarke (Nobby)
Navigator Rob ????
Bomb Aimer Len Buckingham
Signaller Martin ???? (Mart)
Mid Upper Gunner Johnny ????
Rear Gunner ???? Kain (Cobber)
We would love to fill in some gaps, but alas have not found a site with details of British crews.
Any tips you can give would be most welcome, and advice on whether there are any official records we can access.
Dad will be with us at Christmas, and will bring his log book. We will send you any further info that looks to be of interest.
Thanks again for your efforts
Melanie & John Colvin

Dear Peter,
Our family moved from the UK, October 1955. We settled in Christchurch, where Mum & Dad still live. John & I are in Wellington.
We will mention the 460 reunion to Dad, but its not likely they will be able to come.
Regards Melanie & John Colvin.
