JAPANESE BOMBING RAID ON
AT STRAUSS AIRFIELD, NT
ON 22 JAN 1943 AND 23 JAN 43

Records on the National Archives of Australia site show that 76 Squadron RAAF experienced Japanese air raids at Strauss Airfield early on the mornings of 22nd and 23rd January 1943 both lasting about two hours. There were no casualties or damage.
