I never dreamed that there were so many.
My GGGF, GEORGE HUXTABLE was b: 1788 near Barnstable, Devonshire. He married Emma Amy Rottenberry in 1815. They must have emigrated to IL. I have George buried at Hardscrable Cemetery, north of Tremont, IL in 1852.
They had eight children: Mary b:1816,Sarah b:1817,John b: 1819 and William b: 1821(my GGF) Amy, b: 1823, George (Jr.?) b: 1826, Thomas B: 1828 and James b:1830.
WILLIAM HUXTABLE married BARBARA ROBISON 1846 IN Elm Grove Township, Tazewell Co., IL. They had eleven children, William fathered two more after Barbara died, wife unknown. My grandfather, GEORGE LESLIE HUXTABLE was born in Hastings, Adams County, NE in 1848, (2nd child). My father, GEORGE FREDERICK HUXTABLE WAS BORN IN 1896 in 1896 in Connersville, Fayette County, IN. He died in 1942 in a Japanese prison camp. I am missing a lot of information and have no living ancestors (that I know of) to talk to.
