I had a cousin, FlgOff Lawrence John (Mike) Eaton, who flew as a Pilot with 460 Squadron. Mike passed away some years ago. As an ex RAAF (post WW11 Warrant Officer) I would be very interested to hear from any Squadron members who may remember Mike. In my retirement I have become somewhat the family historian, and have obtained Mikes service records, with flying hours, bombing missions etc. Another Uncle, WOff William John McInernheney, from the same side of the family, was a fighter pilot with 3Squadron in the Middle East and Italy, flying Kittyhawks and Mustangs.

He was shot down over Yuogslavia and took two months to make it back through German lines with the aid of the local partisans. His report of the incident makes very interesting reading.
