Dear Peter,

Just a few minutes ago I was delighted to find all your information of 460 Squadron on the net. It recalled many memories of my time with the Squadron.

I was a Flight Engineer with Stan Daley and his crew. We joined the mob in March 1944 and our first trip was too Stuttgart on Mar.15th.

Some time in the following summer we were transferred to No 1 Group Special Duty Flight, which was operating from Binbrook at that time. Sometime around early August we rejoined 460 Squadron, and finished our tour in about mid September.

I was fortunate to be able to attend the Re-Union at Perth W.A. five years ago. My wife and I visited Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney after meeting many many old friends.

Hope this finds you well, and thanks for putting such welcome 'gen' on the internet.
