DURING WWII

The 607 Australian Light Anti-aircraft Battery (607 Lt AA Bty) was located on Magazine Hill, in the Townsville Harbour Area during WWII. Michael Stafanos was one of the men of the 607 Lt AA Bty. He was discharged early from the unit in October 1944.
