PORTLAND ROADS
WHERE IS IT?

Portland Roads was (is?) the nearest port to Iron Range/ Lockhart River and is about 20 miles to the northeast of that place. I think "Roads" gets its name from an old English definition for a a piece of water near shore where ships can ride at anchor.
