WRECKAGE OF A P-38 LIGHTNING
FOUND OFF ARCADIA, MAGNETIC ISLAND

In about November 1944, the wreckage of a USAAF P-38 Lightning was found in the sea, 2 miles off Arcadia Beach, on Magnetic Island.
