Kittyhawk
On 19 March 1945, RAAF P-40M Kittyhawk, A29-330 (#43-5434), made a heavy landing at Bohle airfield just north of Townsville. The undercarriage collapsed.
It was first delivered to the RAAF in March 1943.
The aircraft was sent to 13 ARD for repairs. It was later received at 6 CRD on 2 October 1945 and was converted to components as it was uneconomical to repair.
