40 SQUADRON - RAAF
IN AUSTRALIA DURING WWII

40 Squadron RAAF was formed in Townsville on 31 March 1944.  The squadron moved to Port Moresby on 22 July 1944.

In its time the squadron had Sunderland and Mariner aircraft.

Can anyone help me with more information?
