CRASH OF A B-26 MARAUDER
AT REID RIVER AIRFIELD

B-26 Marauder, #40-1405, "Goosie Lucy", of 408th Squadron, 22nd Bombardment Group, belly landed at high speed at Reid River Airfield after problems with its nose wheel on 20 May 1942. The pilot was 1st Lieutenant John C. O'Donnell O-406281.
