CRASH OF A B-25 MITCHELL
AT GARBUTT AERODROME, QLD

A B-25 Mitchell, aircraft #41-30324 of 33rd Squadron, 22nd Bombardment Group, crashed during take-off into parked aircraft at Garbutt aerodrome on 17 July 1943. The B-26 was written off. There were no injuries.
