CRASH OF A SEAGULL AIRCRAFT
IN TOWNSVILLE'S OUTER HARBOUR

RAAF Seagull, A2-5, crashed into the sea on 14 February 1944 while landing in the outer harbour at Townsville.  Crew were safe.
