DATE UNKNOWN
WRECKAGE OF A P-39 AIRACOBRA
LOCATED IN MARGARET BAY
NEAR CAPE GRENVILLE, QLD
IN AUSTRALIA DURING WWII

On an unknown date, the wreckage of a possible USAAF P-39 Airacobra was located in Margaret Bay near Cape Grenville.

It is not clear whether this could be one of the many Airacobras which forced landed on either 26 April 1942 (9 lost) or 1 May 1942 (six lost).
