Christina Maria Jensen was the sixth child of Anders Jensen (born 21 July 1848 Aalborg, Denmark) and Magdalena Mortensen who settled in Hervey Bay on Doolong Farm. Magdalena had an earlier child Jens Christie born out of wedlock who grew up with Anders and Magdalena.

Christina Maria Jensen who was born on 2 March 1882 married Andrew Henry Emil Jensen (possibly her cousin) on 21 November 1906 in the Gospel Hall at Nikenbah.

Andrew Henry Emil Jensen was born on 5 March 1882, the son of Emil Jensen and Ane Sophie Larsen. Andrew Henry Emil Jensen became known as Emil Jensen.

Emil and Christina Jensen had the following children:-
Melville Conrad Jensen b. 12 Aug 1907
 Lorna Christina (Chrissie) b. 22 Jan 1909
 Robert Emil Jensen b. 20 Sep 1910
 Myra Christina Jensen b. 8 Aug 1913
 Lorna Beryl Jensen b. 10 Oct 1925
 Noel Henry Jensen b. 15 Aug 1927
